emergency medical evacuation, repatriation, accident and sickness)?
Answer: Each school has different minimum medical
insurance requirements. Please refer to the "Medical Expense",
"Sublimits", and "Emergency Evacuation" sections

I am a foreign student on an F-1 visa. I have
health insurance through my university in the U.S. However, my wife
will be arriving in the U.S. on an F-2 visa and would like to purchase
insurance. Can she enroll in the International Student and Scholar
plan?
Answer: No, CISI will only enroll dependents of students
covered under a CISI plan whether on an individual or group plan.
Does the insurance need to be paid in full,
or can I pay it on a monthly basis?
Answer: If you are looking to enroll in the International
Student and Scholar plan, you may purchase a minimum of three months
at a time. We recommend you mark "Yes" on the renewal
portion of the application. This will allow us to send you a renewal
notice before your insurance expires.
